Enough
I think we all have times where we wonder if we’re enough. I think I will always remember the first day of art classes my freshman year of college. I was SO overwhelmed. I had a rude awakening to the difference between high school art and college art, and it was rather a humbling experience. I left classes thinking, “There’s no way I can do this!” I felt like I had been weighed, I had been measured, and I definitely had been found wanting. But then, on the walk home from school I turned to God for help, and He reassured me that I was enough and that with His help I could do great things. It’s just as Paul said to the Corinthians, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;” (2 Corinthians 3:5). So to all my siblings that are still in college, and to everyone out there who has wondered if they have what it takes, turn to the Lord and with Him you will always be enough.
