My husband and I have been going through some rather challenging times lately. I guess you could probably say the whole country is. But what has been rather miraculous, is that even though we’re going through a time that would generally cause great anxiety, my heart has really been at peace. I have this comforting feeling that everything will be all right, and it will all work out. The scripture that keeps coming to mind is, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27). So even though my problems most likely won’t be solved today, or tomorrow, I have this knowledge that I’m being watched over, and my soul is content.12″ x 24″ oil on masonite
